Pink Boutique is based in Birdwell and specialises in Mother of the Bride dresses, as well as a great range of casual and party-wear. The shop has been open for almost 8 years and started out with second-hand designer garments but then changed over to the bridal area 5 years ago. Owner, Sandie, has been working in the retail business for many years, previously working in a boutique in Mexborough for over 20 years and other fashion businesses.

The boutique stocks brands such as Linea Raffaelli, Luis Civit, Rosa Clara, Frank Lyman, Jolaby, Batida, Zenia and Eroke, as well as some vintage styles from Camelot. They start around £79 for the occasion wear but have lower priced pieces for the casual daywear. They stock pieces in sizes 10-24 but have an expert seamstress on hand to ensure it fits you perfectly. You can book an appointment in the shop for a personal shopper experience and try on numerous pieces to get the right one for your needs, give them a ring to arrange it. You can also hire the hats and fascinators to save on cost and work around the budget that you have, however payment plans are also available.

You can see Pink boutique in numerous magazines that they advertise in such as the Pulse Magazine, Mercury Magazine, The Weekender, as well as holidays books. They have a facebook page for any information you might need but they love attending wedding fairs and doing fashion shows. Their recent one was a show they put on themselves last October in aid of Barnsley Hospice. Their next Fashion Show is on Thursday 18th of May at 6pm for the Inner Wheel Fashion Extravaganza at the Holiday Inn, it includes Champagne, 2 course meal and fashion show in between for £20. They really like being in the village of Birdwell as it's not too buys of a place and they can offer a personalised service that a town centre shop would struggle with. However they don't have the same footfall if they were but appreciate that customers come to them directly when looking for these garments. In the future, they would love to do a short term pop-up shop to showoff their casual wear.
