Wonderfully Made In Yorkshire craft fair was held at Silkstone Parish Church, 11th & 12 November with their preview night on the 10th. I had hoped I could attend the preview night but other commitments meant I didn't get to go until Saturday. The fair was set up inside Silkstone Church which was a beautiful setting for these equally beautiful hand crafted items, all from around Yorkshire. The church had a great system where you got given a shopping bag at the entrance and you put in everything you wish to buy and then paid for everything at once at the end of it. This made it feel a lot less pressured to the customer feeling obliged to buy something at every stall. Here we have some of my favourite stalls of the fashion-esque types.

I totally fell in love with Sea Breeze Designs contemporary jewellery. All inspired by the sea (obvs) and nautical things from the British coastline, handmade by the designer using many different techniques. I also loved their stall, it drew me straight in because it was clean, simple and stylish, plus the lighting rig around it made it look professional. Bush Boo Baby & Kids was a very colourful stall of childrenswear items and quirky accessories. Those bow-ties were so adorable and I love the range of fabrics that were used. See their etsy shop here www.etsy.com/shop/BushBooBabyandKids

Made By Lolly is a funky bold accessories business. My favourite of their designs is the unicorn badge! Look at him! But they do a great range of slogan badges and other colourful items to accessorize your outfits. See their website here www.madebylolly.co.uk

These glass pendants and earrings from Pam Goodison Glass Artist are so unique, it's hard to duplicate the exact same, meaning you'll always have one of a kind. Pam does !any other glass work items but we loved the jewellery pieces that were here and just how colourful they were. We saw Pam at the Crafty Business Makers Market and joined in on the live workshop too! See their website www.pamgoodisonglass.co.uk

Coo Coo C'est Moi was a great addition to the fair with some snuggly winter warmers and Harris tweed bags. When I first passed there was a lovely fleece lined cape wrapped around the mannequin, when I came back to photograph it, it had already sold! Utterly Unique by Karen Kaye creates these beautiful paper roll beaded jewellery pieces. The quality of these are outstanding, from simple strips of paper into these sweet pendant earrings and necklaces. See their website here www.karenkaye.co.uk

Vintage feeling Glad Rags had both accessories and homeware items available at the fair, here we have some vintage fabric bags and felt rose badges. Other items were fabric wreaths, fabric stag heads, cushions and more.

Daisy Florence Designs had a range of delicately tactile items all of a floral nature. I loved their badges, I bought two to put onto my denim jacket! The cute textile homeware items also appealed to me, along with the handmade felted flower pots. JewelzOnline had a great range of top level quality jewellery, made from re-purposed spoons and forks for their bracelets and rings. The necklaces were just stunning, they had a large range of different style pendants, but all like nothing you'd seen before. Find them here www.jewelzonline.co.uk

If you're ever after something textile-y with witty slogans, Touchy Feely Textiles will sort you out. They have a range of items with writing on them like 'Knitting is my Superpower' and 'It's so exhausting being Fabulous'. They also make Harris tweed bags and upcycled ones from suit jackets, all with a unique twist. PF Designs bespoke jewellery had some lovely little items and were presented really nicely on the stall. Some of my favourites were the long drop necklaces, very classy and elegant looking. Many of them I thought you could wear with a range of different outfits to get maximum usage of these handmade beauties, rather than one-time one-offs. Leather goodies from Chic-yCow really stood out in one of the side-rooms of the church, against the stone wall backdrop. You might be looking for something more delicate like Zoe Barber Designs jewellery. I was afraid to pick them up at first but they were so beautifully made and in such sweet designs. Overall it was a great event with really high quality businesses in. The atmosphere of the church felt very relaxed and cosy and it was great to see it so busy there.
