Art At The Altar by Hens Teeth Arts craft fair was on this past week 17-20th November, based inside Penistone Church. I've never been to Penistone church before but I was in awe as I walked into it, there was fairy lights everywhere, twig trees wrapped around the stone pillars and pretty bunting strung above the stalls. It felt so welcoming and cosy, the place was so nicely decorated to say it was a church which commonly feels cold and harsh. It was rather busy too, the vendors that were marshalling the stalls were very enthusiastic and kind to the shoppers asking questions about their products, the shoppers were also ooh-ing and ahh-ing at the beautiful items. We found some recognised businesses here from previous fair events but we're also going to show you some new goodies that we found from the fashion-esque type stalls.

One of the first stalls I came to was Teazle, a really sweet and boldly coloured stall with all these little accessories and handbags. These beautiful little fabric flowers adorned most items as an accent and pop of patterns. See them here  www.teazle.co.uk

These delicate jewellery pieces by Frances Barkworth were one of my favourite jewellery stands at the fair. They were made so professionally looking and would make amazing christmas presents. Here's her website francesbarkworth.co.uk

When I see ceramics, I never think of seeing them as jewellery pieces so I'm always impressed when I do. Tracey Mawson Ceramics had a few of these pendants necklaces with that were really textural and tactile, echoing the rest of the gorgeous homeware items. Lottie Loves make lovely vintage inspired accessories, earrings, hair clips, necklaces and more. These little flower earrings were my favourite, really pretty and girly looking. Here's their facebook page www.facebook.com/LottieLovesCrafts

A whole array of autumnal mohair scarves by Lindy were here and even though it's mohair, they were so soft, I couldn't help touching them all! Plus they were so reasonably priced for the quality of them.

Moo Designs Boutique had a large area in the church for all their goodies like leather handbags, jewellery, clothing and more. The stall looked beautifully displayed with a little rustic feeling to it. Here's their website www.moo-designs.co.uk

Cottonarts had these gorgeous leather bags and other leather goods, as well as some scarves and fabric purses and things like that. I loved this little owl backpack! So cute! Here's their website www.cottonarts.co.uk
